I bought this chair recently and it’s been great! A large variety of settings…shiatsu, kneading, etc. It also has a full recline which is an added bonus. Not too bulky so it can fit into most spaces without any difficulty. Easy to operate. A must have!

I wanted an inexpensive rolling stool that is comfortable. I got exactly that. The chair is quite comfortable for sitting for over one hour. The stool sqeaks some when I shift my weight and move about the treatment table. The plastic wheels move roughly and leave small marks on the wood floor which wipe up easily. You get what you pay for. I wanted an inexpensive rolling stool that is comfortable. I got exactly that. The chair is quite comfortable for sitting for over one hour. The stool sqeaks some when I shift my weight and move about the treatment table. The plastic wheels move roughly and leave small marks on the wood floor which wipe up easily. But, for the price I would buy it again – no regrets.

I enjoy the massage and heat feature. As far as comfort, too stiff. Feels like sitting in a padded
wooden rocking chair, or desk chair. Needs more padding for a more cushy feeling. Could have been a great chair but
just adequate. Not ergonomic in any way. I use it for the massage then sit in my big recliner to watch television.
Could do better for the price.

This is lighter, softer fabric, quieter. He is once again a happy camper. This is better for his soft discs than the shiatsu versions that hurt him, this one is pain free. Thanks for making helpful products. I try to buy everything through Amazon as it is the easiest way to order (and pay with Pay-Pal). The only down side, it's a pill to get into the recliner and then get into it on the recliner, but he is getting it down. We purchased this for my husband for a replacement of his 8 year old Homemedics cushion. This is lighter, softer fabric, quieter. He is once again a happy camper. This is better for his soft discs than the shiatsu versions that hurt him, this one is pain free. Thanks for making helpful products. I try to buy everything through Amazon as it is the easiest way to order (and pay with Pay-Pal). The only down side, it’s a pill to get into the recliner and then get into it on the recliner, but he is getting it down. A happy hubby makes for a happy wifie!

I’ve used a variety of similar toppers for years and find them relaxing — not deep massage but good for relaxation. This one is pretty well designed and works well — when it works. But I have had three fail in less than a year. In each case it seems clear that it was a burnt-out resistor in the controller, a 5-cent part that the Chinese manufacturer probably bought from his crooked cousin. I’m sure that Brookstone is getting pretty tired of replacing them, and maybe someday they’ll get tired enough to exercise some quality control (or buy from some place that does not specialize in junk and ripping off the customer). For my part, I paid for the two-year replacement policy, and plan to get my two years regardless of how many Brookstone has to send me.
